Gabriele Perici's works reflect surreal and symbolic images and their celebration of love, sensuality and the subconscious as a source of creativity. Perici's painting style has some similarities to Amedeo Modiglian's: the female figures are characterized by the elongation of the neck, the oval shape of the head, and the graceful lines of the body. As the artist says, even tough he has studied different painting styles, he was not influenced by a certain artist or movement and he only trusts his own instincts.
The Italian born artist has been living and exhibiting in Italy, Brazil, France, as well as in the United States - New Orleans, Miami Beach and New York. His paintings are included in many private collections.
