I, Bayo Iribhogbe, was born and educated as an artist in the old Benin province in Nigeria where I developed painting people en masse and saturated them with colors.
I always paint with my native music on. Every piece I produce has that human touch that keeps the veiwer engaged.
Today, I could see images literally dangling before my eyes and I follow subconsciously. I paint with unforced emotions.
The pallette knife is my main tool. It substantially enhances my ability to apply colors with such spontaneity and honesty. That is made possible because what I am expressing is humanistic, personal, and spontaneous.
