Lift and Tuck was conceived from two photographic scans; a color
self-portrait and a black and white nude shot of myself and identical twin
sister. The blended images were then manipulated to enhance their conception
It is both representative of the misconception of beauty propagated by the
media, the lift and tuck of the plastic surgeon and the paradox of being an
identical twin, torn between the other half and one's own unique
individuality.
